This week we welcome another Buyers Consultant to our team, Sarah Coles. Sarah has a wealth of experience in a variety of fields and is keen to succeed in Real Estate. Sarah has already started building a client base of qualified buyers via the Gardian VIP Buyer Service. Big congratulations to all of our staff and our vendors and buyers for their recent sales success in the month of January. According to Domain, Gardian Real Estate has 15% market share for the number of sales in Mackay for January. This is a large piece of the pie as there are more than 40 active agencies in town. And it continues to look good for the remainder of this quarter with 27 more contracts already signed this year.
This week saw the release of the 2020 Agent of the Year Awards by Ratemyagent. Ratemyagent is Australia’s number 1 agent review website. The 2020 Agent of the Year Awards look at which agents have had the most consistent customer recommendations through 2019 and how successful that agent has been in terms of sales volume and sales price. The awards then rank agents and their agencies so it's clear to see who are leaders in each suburb across Australia.
2020 is off to a great start, with the Gardian Sales Team showing more than 100 potential buyers through open homes over the weekend and with a further 10 contracts signed and a number of offers presented. One of the properties had a whopping 14 groups in attendance!
